Story:

Tango no Sekku, also known as Children's Day or Boys' Day, is a traditional Japanese celebration that honors the growth and health of boys. Celebrated typically on May 5th of the lunar calendar, this day involves decorating with iris and eating kashiwa mochi, a type of rice cake wrapped in oak leaves. Koinobori, carp-shaped windsocks, are commonly flown to symbolize the perseverance and success of children. Additionally, traditional practices include using the herb iris to purify and ward off evil spirits.
